Alan Sheldrake has over 25 years experience in the engineering, designing, testing and troubleshooting of high voltage generation and power distribution systems that are used in offshore and onshore oil and gas installations.
His particular expertise is in gas turbine generators, large motors and their interaction with each other and with their power networks. He is the author of the book entitled 'Handbook of Electrical Engineering for Practitioners in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry', published by John Wiley & Sons, ISBN 0-471-49631-6.
